The Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities reported yesterday that a team of archaeologists from the Austrian Archaeological Institute has found a wall in the ancient capital Avaris (during the hicso period), in the northern region of the Nile Delta, with an age of 3,500 years.
According to him Minister Mamdouh el-Damaty, who did not specify when the discovery was made, this great «fence«(how they called it), it could have been part of a wall in the city of Avaris.
